The CWE Research Team is excited to attend the 2019 Global Carework Summit in Toronto, Ontario June 9-11.
This is the second three-day summit hosted by the Carework Network. It is designed to connect interdisciplinary carework researchers from across the globe. Hosted events will include an opening keynote panel addressing global policy and the care economy on Friday, followed by concurrent paper and roundtable sessions on Saturday spanning topics such as technology and care, regulating careworker migration, and related moral theory. Participants also are invited to participate in workshops in the afternoon. Tuesday will conclude with additional concurrent paper, panel, and roundtable sessions on topics like the costs of unpaid care, neo-liberalism, and elder care.
