CWE-GAM CONCLUDING ANNUAL MEETING

MAY 12 - 14, 2021

In the last three and a half years, the Care Work and the Economy (CWE-GAM) project's network of over 40 scholars worked together to conduct new research using the project’s field work data on paid workers and family care givers, and developing innovative, analytic tools such as care-embedded macroeconomic models that provide a more comprehensive understanding of economic policy impacts on women’s labor supply, growth, distribution, and gender equality. At the CWE-GAM concluding annual meeting, our community scholars came together to take stock of the project's research and achievements, assess them against the project's goals, and discuss policy implications and lessons learned.
