Bongoh Kye is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Kookmin University in Seoul, Korea. His areas of expertise include demography, social stratification, and quantitative methods. His research focuses on how population dynamics are related with reproduction of social inequality. Previously, he was a Frank H.T. Rhodes postdoctoral fellow of Cornell Population Center at Cornell University and received his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California – Los Angeles. His works appear in peer-reviewed journals such as Demographic Research, Ageing and Society, Population Research and Policy Review, Social Science Research, and Research in Social Stratification and Mobility.
